Managed EDR and antivirus for SMEs in Belgium
A traditional antivirus spots what it already knows. An infected workstation can then contaminate the rest of your network before anyone notices. We deploy a managed detection that continuously monitors your workstations and acts before propagation.
A traditional antivirus software works by comparison against a list of already identified threats. Faced with a recent or slightly modified attack, it remains silent until the infection manifests itself, often via a slowed-down workstation, inaccessible files, or unusual behaviour that no one has monitored in time.
Without active supervision, a single compromised machine can serve as an entry point to the rest of your network for several days, without any alert being raised to anyone. By the time the problem becomes visible, the damage is often already done on several workstations at once.
LTC Group deploys a managed detection and response tool across your entire IT fleet, in Belgium, with centralised monitoring of suspicious behaviours. An alert reaches us directly, before the incident turns into a production halt.
What makes up
our managed detection.
- Deployment of a detection and response tool on all your workstations and servers.
- Centralised monitoring of suspicious behaviours, not just files already known as dangerous.
- Remote isolation of a compromised workstation, to cut short any propagation to the rest of the network.
- Continuous updating of detection mechanisms, with no necessary intervention on your part.
- Regular reporting on the state of protection and alerts handled across your fleet.
From the first assessment
to continuous monitoring.
Free assessment
Thirty minutes to examine your current protection and identify the most exposed workstations.
Deployment
Installation of the detection tool across your fleet, usually taking a few days depending on the number of workstations.
Calibration
Adjustment of alert thresholds to your actual usage, limiting false positives without letting anything slip by.
Monitoring
Continuous monitoring of alerts and adjustment of protection as your fleet evolves.
Spotting a behaviour,
not just a signature.
We deploy a detection and response tool (EDR) on your workstations, capable of spotting abnormal activity even when the threat has never been seen before, rather than an antivirus limited to a list of known signatures. Alerts flow up to a centralised supervision console that we monitor for you.
When a suspicious behaviour is confirmed, the affected workstation can be isolated from the network remotely, in a few minutes, without waiting for an on-site visit or shutting down all your operations to deal with a single device.
The rate depends on the number of workstations and servers to be covered, and the level of response desired in the event of an alert. The final pricing is provided to you for free after the initial assessment.
Useful as soon as your workstations
handle sensitive data.
- SMEs whose current antivirus has not evolved for several years.
- Companies handling client files or sensitive data on a daily basis.
- Organisations that want an alert before a complete halt, not after.
- An isolated freelancer with a single personal computer holding no professional data.
- Companies already equipped with managed detection handled internally.
- Organisations looking for a guarantee of total immunity against any attack.
Take an SME of twenty people whose free antivirus, installed when the company was created, had never been reviewed since. Following the deployment of managed detection, a suspicious login attempt on an accounting workstation is spotted and isolated on the same day, before reaching the other machines on the network.
This example is illustrative. Find other realisations by LTC Group on the projects page.
What we get asked
before changing antiviruses.
It still plays a role, but it only detects already catalogued threats. Behavioural detection complements what it doesn't see, especially recent attacks or those tailored to your company.
No. It is designed to run in the background with minimal impact on performance, a far cry from the old antiviruses that monopolised workstation resources.
The arrangements for out-of-hours support are defined together according to your plan, with no promise of permanent availability that we could not keep.
No, in the vast majority of cases. The tool is installed on your existing fleet; replacement is only considered if a machine can no longer handle the load, independently of this project.
No, no serious tool can guarantee that. It greatly reduces the risk and shortens reaction time, which concretely changes the outcome of an incident.
